The premier Achimota Golf Club delivered yet another impressive Monthly Medal for the month of May and the day ended with exciting blend of results.

Victor Oyango combined remarkable drives and putting accuracy to vault into the first position in the Men Group A, after shooting a net score of 69 off handicap 7.

Kofi Dickson stayed in the mix for the second spot after carding a net score of 70; one shot off the lead. Kofi played off handicap 13.

Meanwhile, Jerry Tetteh, maintained his poise to shoot a net score of 71 to settle for a third-place finish on handicap 7.

In the Ladies Group, Alberta Lomofio, routed the field to finish atop in her campaign. Alberta returned a net score of 65 off handicap 33, her win lowers her handicap to 30.

 

Jenny Hong Le, however shot to a net score of 73 off handicap 27 for the second place while Christina Furler followed with a net score of 75 off handicap 16 for the third position.

Similarly, Yaw Afriyie churned out medley of pars to finish strong in the Men Group B after recording a net score of 66 off handicap 19. Yaw edged into second place Michael Darko who closed off with a net score of 69 off handicap 18.

Following in the third place was Kwame Boafo with a net score of 70 off handicap 17.

The Premier Achimota Golf Club continues to draw flurry of attractions to the club due its lush fairways and well-manicured greens.
